Squirrel It — Terms of Service & Acceptable Use
Last updated: June 16, 2026
Squirrel It is a personal URL-saving and AI-enrichment tool. By using Squirrel It, you agree to the following terms.
What the service does
Squirrel It saves URLs you share with it, fetches content from those URLs, and uses AI (Claude by Anthropic) to generate summaries, titles, tags, and categories. You can search your saved items and ask questions across them.
Your data
- Content you save is stored in a database hosted by Supabase.
- Your saved URLs and their content are processed by AI (Claude) to generate enrichment data.
- Your data is not sold, shared with advertisers, or used to train AI models.
- You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting hello@squirrelit.app.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use Squirrel It to:
- Save content that is illegal in your jurisdiction.
- Save content that depicts or facilitates the exploitation or abuse of minors.
- Attempt to overload, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the service.
- Use automated tools to bulk-submit URLs.
- Circumvent rate limits or access controls.
Squirrel It reserves the right to remove content and terminate accounts that violate these terms without notice.
The service is provided as-is
Squirrel It is a personal project in beta. There are no uptime guarantees, no SLAs, and no warranties. The service may change, pause, or shut down at any time. AI-generated summaries and answers may contain errors.
Cost
The service is free during the beta period. If pricing is introduced, you will be notified in advance and can export or delete your data before any charges apply.
